Besides his outstanding bass playing Peter Muller obtained a great reputation as a producer and sound engineer with his debut "M-Vibez".Peter Muller was born on the 6th October 1969 and grew up in a musical family. It was during this period that he became interested in funk music. His CD is a journey through all facets of contemporary electric bass playing, great musicians are featured, for example Britains sax legend Frank Mead and Barbara Dennerleins trumpet player Christian Kappe. His ears were totally drawn to the sound of the bass and he started to slap on his guitar, trying to sound like all the contemporary bass players he was hearing. He listened to just about everything he could, learning from players like Mark King, Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller. Eventually he decided that he needed a bass more suited to the kind of music he was in to. Out of the blue Peter Muller released his debut album in 2003 and it already became a "Bass Classic".Muller is probably the most exciting new bass player on the Jazz/Funk/Fusion market. S8852622) that is still his main instrument today.He became a professional musician in 1987 and like most professionals played all kinds of gigs in all kinds of musical situations. He started to learn classical acoustic guitar at the age of nine, taking lessons for about five years. So in 1983, at the age of 14, he bought the second hand Fender Jazz Bass (Serial No. Peter grabbed at the chance when a friend of his father's offered him an old Hoefner electric bass guitar and from then on concentrated solely on bass. His father played acoustic bass and piano and so Peter came into contact with Jazz very early.
