Prefuse 73 Biography
Prefuse 73 CD discography DJ and electronica innovator Scott Herren, better known as Artist, is one of the few artists to have had success within the worlds of hip-hop, techno, and indie rock. The Atlanta-based Herren creates a musical pastiche that moves from glitchy noise bursts to boom-bap hip-hop to hazy, experimental R&B soundscapes. Artist has been associated with a host of artists including the Sea & Cake, Tortoise, Mos Def, GZA, Aesop Rock, and the Books. In addition to performing and recording under the names Savath and Savalas, and Delarosa and Asora, Herren also runs the Eastern Developments label.
