| | Quanta Have Moved You CD (2007)
$12.15 In January of 2007, the debut album entitled Have Moved You was released. In the spring of 2006, Artist began writing intensively for their debut full-length album. After more than 300 hours in the studio, Artist had a compiled a project that was hailed by critics as their best work to date. Since their inaugural meetings, Artist released 4 demos in their fist years prior to their college graduations. Hailing from Northeast Ohio, CD, Rybo, and Sweddy picked up drumsticks, a guitar, and bass to begin their journey into the musical world. In the fall of 1999, three childhood friends came together to combine their musical interests into a band named Artist. The accessible sound and tight charismatic live performance of Artist has propelled them from the local scene to the national stage. Their unique blend of blues, funk, and gospel influences has transformed the ordinary sound of rock music. From the electronic-influenced 'Dicey Neighborhood' to the delta blues influenced 'Sun Means Rain,' Artist preserves catchy sing-along choruses set within a refreshing maturity rarely seen these days. In an effort layered thick with energy and emotion, its eclectic mesh of genres connected on all levels.

Opening with Danica Winter's anthem "Paradise," David Murphy's ponderings on "Thoughts of Heaven" flows smoothly into Mimi & The HearnDog's poignant longing on "I Know." Then, Bill McGuire's "All the Time In The World" kicks in a hint of roots rock, leading to popster C.E. Reid's "The Pull" shifting into overdrive. Produced by songwriter Del Suggs, this compilation showcases the variety of musical styles within the "Americana" genre, from roots-based acoustic, folk, and bluegrass to jazz-flavored pop and rock. Bill Richeson then unleashes a bluegrass-flavored rocker in "Forget it," followed by Artist's boogie woogie shuffle in "Walking From Richmond." Schef Wright's tribute to a lighthouse"St.
