Hats off to Jim Berault, Barbara Brennan, Barbara Leamon and Marilyn Freeze. We were also blessed by the talents of several talented song writers who collaborated with us. Whatever the classification, it was a blast to do since we had our amigos, The Twins, backing us on multiple cuts. One might call our music coconut country, trop-rock, or mariachi fusion. We tried to do a theme album in response to the great life we have living in Mexico, producing and recording Spanish language acts and soaking up the sea and sand.

While attending the SXSW Music Festival we met composer/ bassist, Allen Steadham and formed The Killer Tomatahs. Leslie and I moved to Austin Texas from Dallas in 1990 to better promote our original material.

It was too cool! Audience members showed up at our concert/reception bearing gifts. When Leslie and I got married, Valentine's Day, 1989, we did something a bit unusual: We got married on Dallas Radio Station, KLIF.
