 Sebadoh Biography
After leaving Dinosaur Jr. in 1989, guitarist/singer Lou Barlow pursued a more nuanced artistic direction in Sebadoh. Though the band's songwriting quality is variable, Barlow always puts his soul on the line with sometimes disturbing honesty. Sebadoh's early lo-fi releases were considered minor masterpieces of the indie-rock scene; however by the early 21st century the band's output had become more sophisticated. Barlow's side project, Folk Implosion, semi-shockingly made the American top 40 with "Natural One" from the KIDS soundtrack.
