 Shoes Biography
Like the power-pop genre in which they operated, the Artist never became a major force in the world of rock. However, aficionados of infectious guitar jangle and adenoidal vocals are quick to sing the praises of this Illinois quartet, whose golden age was in the late-'70s/early-'80s. Insanely catchy tracks like "Tomorrow Night" and "The Things You Do" really do sound like what Brian Wilson famously called "teenage symphonies to God."
