Sirens' Song was established in 1996 in the huge town of Abilene Texas. Rikie keeps us on track and makes us really WORK in rehearsals. You may have heard Sirens Song on Celticrock. The group met when the members worked with one another on theatrical productions, and we have been going strong even after the productions were over. If she sets out to do something, it gets done. With this partnership, the band received a national grant to help fund the new cd, with a portion of the profit proceeds benefiting a conservancy that helps rehabilitate injured birds of prey. With folk lyrics, and pop rhythms, we prefer to sing songs that are poetic, and mostly refer to nature and the sea.
