Quite simply, Solid E's music contains no gimmicks, and places a heavy emphasis on skills with a refusal to compromise. With their second album, Solid Entity is looking forward to expanding their fan base through increased publicity and promotion. Bios Solid Entity- Psych and Chanj have been relentless in the studio cranking out song after song in an attempt to top their debut classic. As an added bonus, Solid E features the enticing vocals of two very talented female singers (Debbie Charles on “Please You”, and Emily Arnold on “Loungin”). It’s hard to imagine him having a lot of free time on his hands considering he is responsible for much of the production for Solid Entity. While they prefer that straight spittin’, flowin shit, they show that can still lay down the elusive radio-friendly or occasional club joint. While he’s not busy spawning beats or spittin lava for Solid E, he still finds time to work on his solo project in addition to creating tracks for L.D.C., a newly formed group which features himself, Paul Pot, Rosko and various other talented emcees. Born Sick, is chock full of underground bangers containing ridiculously sick flows and raw lyrics. For consumers who want an alternative to iced out grills and endless videos of Hummers on 24's, you've come to the right place. The long awaited follow-up CD, Born Sick, is the result of the group’s effort to give you what you really want to hear and return to what made them fall in love with hip-hop in the first place. Chanj lives in Wheaton, MD, but he still considers Northern Virginia to be his actual stomping ground. He considers himself equal parts artist and producer. Chanj AKA Rekks- What stands out most about Chanj is his puzzle piece word play, and the way he viciously attacks the beat with an untamed passion that is rarely seen nowadays.
