| Time Passages CD (1978) Remastered
$9.29 Year of the Cat brought Al Stewart a genuine worldwide smash with its title track, and for its successor, he did make a few concessions. These, however, were slight -- just a slight increase of soft rock productions, an enhancement ...

| Modern Times CD (1975) Bonus Tracks
$10.69 Surely the title is a bit of an allusion to the Past, Present and Future of its predecessor, but Modern Times also brought Al Stewart into the present, establishing his classic sound of folky narratives and Lennonesque melodies, all wrapped ...

| Past, Present And Future CD (1974)

 Al Stewart Biography
The Scots singer songwriter Al Stewart first made a name for himself in the late 1960s with a series of introspective folk-rock albums that were often augmented with lush string arrangements. An early partiality for confessional love songs was later replaced with extended works that embraced historical and political themes, while mid-`70s hits "The Year of the Cat" and "Time Passages" proved Stewart's expertise at crafting commercial material. Though similar chart success later proved elusive, he continued to maintain a somewhat lower-profile musical career well into the 2000s.
