JoJo grew up in Berkeley, California. He was influenced by the music scene in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s playing in Showcase and Cover Bands in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was influenced by Flamenco/Brazilian andClassical Guitar. Always writing songs in many styles, and handy with a skill saw, he over the years has helped to build half a dozen recording studios and has always operated his own studio, writing , recording and doing audio projects. At an early age he started playing nylon string guitar.
