She is orginally from back east. After her CD release Tamar worked for Fox Television and did vocals for there television shows. Her song "Oh My Friend" is a tribute to her best friend that passed away. Her father and grandmother both sang, played piano, and wrote music and were Tamar's early musical influences.She started singing at the age of three. When she was nineteen she started writing songs and recording demos of her original music. She has been full time Vocal Coach/Producer in California for many local artist and also teaches classes at The Learning Tree.She is currently writing and recording her third CD and it will available soon. In her earlier twenties she sang with the group Silk-N-Sword for five years and recorded numerous demos and there was a CD Release "True Identity". Her CD "Unveiled" was released to great reviews and played on the radio. Tamar has lived in Los Angeles since 1976. At the age of seven she started writing stories and poetry.
