Although there have been endless packagings and re-packagings of early Wailers material, the JAD series of box sets covering the band's late-'60s and early-'70s work is the most comprehensive and well-compiled. MAN TO MAN focuses on the band's output between 1971 and 1972, and features productions by the infamous Lee "Scratch" Perry and a few by the Wailers themselves (who were in the process of launching their Tuff Gong label).
There are plenty of alternative takes, acoustic demos, and dub-inspired versions of well-known Wailers tracks
