The 'Strange Times' EP was self-produced and recorded at the renowned Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio. The 'Strange Times' EP is the fruit of his labor: a memoir of the strange times we live in. Robert attended the institute in hopes he would acquire the knowledge and skills to produce and record his own musical vision. The album holds true to the honest, organic style that Robert conveys when he performs as a live solo-acoustic act, but is also enhanced by additional instruments such as piano, violin, bass, djembe, and hauntingly gorgeous female vocals. After three years of continuous writing and performing, he released his debut recording: the 'Strange Times' EP. Robert Parker Vaughan is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter based in Richmond, VA. While remaining lyrically focused, as expected from a singer-songwriter, the songs on Robert's new album definitely lean more toward an indie rock sound than his previous release. This second album is where the heavier side of Robert's musical influences begin to shine through as he straps on an electric guitar and is accompanied by a full drum kit, electric bass, and keyboards. Now on the brink of age 25, Robert has prepared a new album, the 'Glitterbaby' EP.
