Wino Biography
Wino CD discography Since the late 1970s, Scott "Artist" Weinrich has been following his heart by making molasses-thick, anvil-heavy doom metal. First with his band the Obsessed, and later with Saint Vitus and Spirit Caravan, through every prevailing metal trend, Artist stuck with what he loved. Participation in Dave Grohl's all-star Probot project in 2004 brought Artist's work to a whole new audience just as younger, artistically inclined bands picked up the doom metal torch. A solo artist for the first time with his 2009 album PUNCTUATED EQUILIBRIUM, Artist shows no signs of slowing down.
