 Steve Wynn Biography
Steve Wynn enjoyed sufficient critical and cult success in his 1980s psych-pop band Dream Syndicate to inspire interest in all his subsequent creative happenings, starting with his intimate 1990 solo album, and brief tenures in indie supergroups Gutterball and Smack Dab. A hook-y songwriter, Wynn also has a penchant for putting together powerful backing bands, including stints with Thalia Zedek's moody rockers Come and his regular touring band, which includes former Zuzu's Petals drummer Linda Pitmon. His following remains strong as he quietly ducks the mainstream radar.
