This set of high-quality smooth jazz fusion from the ex-basketball star turned bass instrumentalist Wayman Tisdale includes high-caliber guests like the keyboardists Jeff Lorber and George Duke and the saxophonist Kirk Whalum. Tisdale's instrumental mastery shines throughout a set of originals and covers, including a virtuoso take of Kool & The Gang's "Get Down on It," a sinuous Sly Stone cover in "If You Want Me to Stay," and the down-tempo Quiet Storm textures of "Shape in Your Heart."
