| | Tomoko Organically Afro Asiatic CD (2007)
$18.99 As a young girl growing up in Japan, TOMOKO was swept by American pop soul music scene since Stevie Wonder's masterpiece 'Key Of Life' changed her life forever. Since she moved to NY from her hometown Osaka Japan, she has recognized the advantage of being a beautiful Asian woman as she calls it 'the oriental women's beauty fever'. The hot newcomer TOMOKO will surely add new inspiration to your ipod library that will totally satisfy in every sense. That's why I had to work as twice as hard to break the typical." After all, you are compelled to say, she is the real deal. But I want people to recognize my talent too." TOMOKO says. "I've worked hard to get away from Asian entertainers syndrome. People always thought no serious Asian singers would make it to the main stream, and plus I wasn't even born and raised here. MY VISION is of a world where people realize their purpose and work together to love, learn and grow. "I don't deny the visual aspect of the business because it is overall who I am. "MY PURPOSE IN LIFE ON EARTH is to keep thriving every day to reach my highest ground. I am just humbled and grateful to be used by God for a purpose greater than myself."Web surfers may have first much paid attention to her strikingly sexy exotic look in those pictures posted on the profile page. MY MISSION is to bring healing and joy in celebrating life through the gift of music. The rest is history. One day she packed her stuff and moved to New York. But everybody including her family members laughed at her when she told them she wanted to be a soul singer.

| Artist appears on Slightly Stoopid Everything You Need CD (2003)
Tomoko CD discography
$12.59 More than four years after 1998's THE LONGEST BARREL RIDE, the Southern California stoner/surf-punk group Slightly Stoopid returned with the studio outing EVERYTHING YOU NEED. While largely grounded in a reggae-pop vibe (see the anti-authority tune "Officer" and a breezy cover of John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane"), the album also acknowledges Stoopid's more revved-up past with the fast-paced three-chord numbers "Perfect Gentleman" and "Punk Rock Billy." Though naturally not a highbrow affair, EVERYTHING YOU NEED stands out as one of Slighty Stoopid's more dynamic and immediately accessible albums, and works as a good introduction to the band's pot-centric brand of party music.
