Featuring acoustic guitar, cello, violin, bass, drums, & vocals - The Naked Puritan Philharmonic balances aspects of rock and classical to produce original music that is uniquely resonant and propulsive. Paint smells drifted around the room, while flowers, fruit, colored bits of pottery, tree branches and textured fabrics were placed about and arranged in still-life. Showcasing twelve diverse pop songs, the Naked Puritan Philharmonic CD sweeps from poignant to humorous while retaining a sensuous atmosphere through an intelligent blend of modern and traditional elements.Recorded during one evening in an art studio at a benefit for local community theater, "Live Arts" captures a unique and intimate atmosphere.
