Artist has recently signed with Indie Record Label Red Drum Records out of Augusta.Even though people tell Artist that they love his music, he just "tries to stay focused and humble", he says. And anyone who has heard his passionate delivery will agree. Artist recites lyrical composition from his own heart. "I try to keep my lyrics as realistic as possible", he says. His listeners tell him that his music is refreshing - "like lemonade on a summer day". A native of South Carolina, Artist began rhyming at the age of 12. When he empties his soul out on a song, he gets people's attention. His excitement and catchy lyrics during his performances have caught the attention of Independent Record Labels and Club Owners in the Augusta area as an up and coming performer, being one of their most sought after Hip Hop artists. After graduating from high school, Artist moved to Washington, DC and then on to Baltimore, Maryland before heading back South to Augusta, Georgia (home of James Brown) where he now resides.Artist has won numerous talent showcases and has begun recording promotions for various Radio DJs. He lives his songs and you can hear the authenticity unfold in his material. While in high school, he spent some of his summers in the New York City tri-state area, collaborating with some of the areas hottest emcees.
