In 2006, Hilton co-fronted the popular band Charlie and Mearii playing gigs at some of the most influential venues in Los Angeles and building up a strong local following. Growing up surrounded by some of the most seminal musicians of the 1970's, Hilton began penning her lyrics and matching them with unique lo-fi textures at the age of 13. Raised in Los Angeles, Charlie Hilton's dreamy alt-folk sound has been a product of an ongoing infatuation with music.
