Blancmange videos DVDs purchase Experimental electropop duo Blancmange, comprised of Neil Arthur and Steven Luscombe, was formed in Leeds in 1979. This 1982 concert at Manchester's infamous Hacienda Club took place at the height of their success. The influential compilation SOME BIZARRE had just been released, which gave Blancmange their first major appearance alongside such heavyweights as Soft Cell and Depeche Mode. The group's first hit, a cover of the Talking Heads song "Feel Me," is included in the song list, along with U.K. chart hits "Living on the Ceiling" and "Waves." The excitement of the early days of electropop is palpable in this show, which features a seminal group at the top of their game.
