94 East CD (2009)
Audio Mixer: Ben Obi.
The two featured songs, 10:15 and Fortune Teller, were originally recorded in 1977 at Sound 80 Recording Studios in Minneapolis, MN, for 94 East's single release on Polydor Records. Unfortunately, they were never released. Prince recorded the guitar tracks you hear on these two songs. The books that have been published about Prince since those original recordings all discuss 10:15 and Fortune Teller, but no one's heard them - until now. These two songs have been remixed on this CD for today's listeners.
The inclusion of 10:15 and Fortune Teller on this new CD from 94 East serves two purposes: to give you a chance to hear two never-released tracks by 94 East with Prince as a teenager, and more importantly, to open the door and lead you to 94 East's newest material. This is the CD that 94 East has always wanted to do. We know you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
