Catch CD (1969)
Catch's origins go back to a band that was initially formed to do covers for weddings and parties. Following one week of rehearsals with a somewhat overbearing and egotistical bass player, three members of the band decided they had enough of playing "Mustang Sally thirty two and two tenths times a day."
The band, now known as Catch, quickly shifted their focus to the development of their own material and unique sound. Band members Joel (guitars, vocals), Sarah (keyboards, violin, vocals), Jase (drums, percussion) and Blaine (bass, vocals) committed themselves to long nights and personal sacrifices in their quest to form "a more perfect band." Although their mission was quite ambitious, Catch has quickly become a tight, cohesive unit which draws upon each other's strengths and influences for their distinctive sound.
The band's musical interests are diverse; from the jazz recordings of Tal Farlow and Dave Brubeck, to the rock acts of Led Zeppelin and Queen, along with the songwriting styles of Dylan and Hendrix, all have helped to develop the soul of what has become Catch. Catch's upcoming self titled independent release, due to hit stores in mid-2002, contains music even more diverse than their influences. From the guitar driven songs "Senorita" and "My Michelle" to the melodic sounds of "My Fair Lady," "Today" and "Letters Home," Catch's first release provides the listener with a fresh approach to modern rock.

Riding Strange Horses CD (2010)
Catch CD discography The third full-length by Swiss reggae quartet Dub Spencer & Trance Hill is one of the more outrageous offerings of 2009 -- even if few outside of Europe heard it. Riding Strange Horses is a covers album in dub. While not a strange premise, a single listen will leave listeners shaking their heads in disbelief at the act's outrageousness -- and more than once have them ...

Get Cool CD (2005)
Catch albums The debut album by all-female pop-punk quartet the Catch has much of the herky-jerky quality of the new wave revival: on opening track "Nothin' But Time," lead singer Carly Nicklaus slips into a Lene Lovich-like yelp, and throughout the album, Amy Rockwell's keyboards have that classically early-'80s cheap Farfisa knockoff sound. ...
