Take This Ride Take This Ride CD (1993)
CD $8.89 Buy It  Details
Ken Chambers discography All songs written or co-written by members of Moving Targets. After their second (third?) long retirement, Moving Targets have reunited again with predictably great results. This is now their fourth raging guitar, heavy bass-and-drums, high-and-dry battering album, notable for Kenny Chambers' sense of sterling choruses and stellar verses to match that malicious edge his buzzing guitar has had since 1987's crushing Burning in Water. Not that ...
No Reaction No Reaction CD (1994)
CD $9.45 Buy It  Details
Ken Chambers music CDs Like Chambers' previous solo LP, No Reaction is far more restrained in attack than his four blitzing LPs with glorious, sledgehammer-heavy, blistering Boston post-punks, Moving Targets, but it's just as effective (forget he was also a part of abysmal, better known proto-metallers Bullet Lavolta). CD Check Availability  Details
Ken Chambers albums BRAVE NOISE recorded at Fort Apache, Cambridge, Massachusetts in the spring of 1988. BURNING IN WATER recorded in January, 1986. All songs written or co-written by Ken Chambers except "June 7th" (Chuck Freeman). Boston legends Moving Targets released their second album, the Brave Noise LP, on Taang! in 1988. Listening years afterward, one is struck by how well the whole effort still holds together: the influential songwriting, musicianship, and above all Lou Giordano's production (with the up-and-coming Carl Plaster assisting). Moving Targets was a band who never got their due and remained largely unacknowledged -- even in Boston years down the line -- for their important contributions as a post-punk ...
