Co-Produced by smooth jazz saxman, Marion Meadows, Places was a NAC radio gem and the album's first single, a cover of the classic Blood Sweat & Tears' favorite, You've Made Me So Very Happy, climb to the top 30 on the NAC Radio charts. The album features musicians, Marion Meadows, Nelson Rangell, Tony Guerrero and Joey's big brother, Johnny DeFrancesco.

Combining powerful originals with flavorful interpretations of songs made popular by Gladys Knight, Minnie Riperton, and Karla Bonoff, Cole eases effortlessly from R&B and jazz to gospel with a hint of blues as she explores the dynamics of romance from all possible points of view.
