The record was produced by Dabbs' good friends and up and comers to the Nashville scene, Justin Loucks and Ian Fitchuk (Griffin House) at the Benton House. After working with producer Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello) on debut release, Quite Often, Dabbs felt it would be hard to find a comparable sound. However, he is more pleased with the organic feel of this follow up release. "This is the record I have been wanting to put out for a long time. There are no gimmicks, no gloss, no one telling me it isn't 'radio' enough!just my songs and some talented guys getting the best authentic sounds." This 9-track album showcases Dabbs' lush vocals over delicate acoustic sounds and unadulterated, yet sophisticated production.
