Ambush on All Sides CD (1997)
Tang Liangxing albums Ambush On All Sides is an impressive outlay of talent from a quartet of Chinese-American soloists. The instrumentation is pipa (Chinese lute), yangqin (hammered dulcimer), erhu (a type of fiddle) and the dizi (bamboo flute). The music is described as "Pan-Chinese" for the wide range of musicality from this varied people incorporated.
