Named after their wonderful 1975 hit single, MAMMA MIA is a brief overview of some of the many high points of ABBA's eight-year career. The disc includes their first single, 1973's "Ring Ring," 1974's Eurovision Song Contest winner "Waterloo" and an unbroken string of often-melancholy, often-delirious, always perfectly crafted classic pop singles that ran through 1981's "One of Us." Swedish foursome Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog recorded so many fantastic songs that it's literally impossible for one CD to hold them all.
