Kal music CDs I am an independent singer/songwriter based in Delaware who has been writing/making music for about eleven years now (since my early teens. ) I have been an avid fan of many diverse single artists throughout the years, such as Beck and Bjork, and like them, I am a firm believer in changing your style for every new album/collection of music released. As such, I tend to change my musical and lyrical style every so many months. Some of my influences include: The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Beck, Bjork, Kenna, Interpol, The Police, New Order, U2, and countless other artists from the 1980's and 1990's.

Kal songs There's something very special happening on this album of Serbian Gypsy music. This young band brings in influences from dance music and from other cultures, adding them to the very firm base of Roma tradition that's their bedrock. And so you get the wonderful fiddle of "Komedija" (which sounds like it could have escaped from a Tom Waits album) along with "Duj Duj," which would be perfectly at home on the dancefloor.
