Flight 7 CD (2008)
Osamu Koike music CDs Active in the acid jazz and bossa nova scenes since 2000, Tokyo-based Paris Match produced an album roughly each year, named numerically. 2008's Flight 7 continues their path of creating light jazz, soul, and bossa nova compositions and centering them on a fully urban sound. Built on Mari Mizuno's ringing vocals, the album kept fans happy and extended their base a bit with success in digital sales. ~ Adam Greenberg

Shapes And Patterns CD (1997)
Osamu Koike albums Swing Out Sister's fifth album Shapes & Patterns doesn't depart from the group's sophisticated pop-soul formula, but that isn't a bad thing, since their jazzy, danceable urban R&B remains pleasant. The group still has trouble coming up with memorable material, but the sound of the record is appealing, and Shapes & Patterns should satisfy fans, even if it doesn't win them any new ones. ~ Leo Stanley
