||Moonlight On The Snow CD (2010) |
David Gill albums Running dogs in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula provided the inspiration for the songs on "Moonlight on the Snow." Each song has a story to tell; some dramatic, some heartbreaking, some funny...but each one unique, true, and from the heart. I wanted a fully-produced, rock band sound, and although I played most of the instruments myself, many other musicians contributed to the final product, and the end result is rather magical. If you have ever run a team of dogs, watched a sled dog race, or just wondered what it would be like to ride a dog sled through the deep winter woods, these songs will speak to you. From the excitement of a race, to the mishaps of training, to the sorrow of losing an old friend, this music covers it all.
