Steven Springer discography Combining elements of calypso, reggae and jazz, guitarist Steven Springer is high on energy, loaded with variable time signatures and obviously a labor of love. Born and raised on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. Steven learned to play the guitar at a young age. "As a boy growing up in Trinidad there was always music around me from the Calypso to Bossa Nova to Pop. There were also many steel bands, who were always playing in the yards in every neighborhood."
Added to this mixture was the pulsating African rhythms, the reggae beat, the Indian percussion sounds and popular rock, folk and jazz music from the US and England.
