Play For Today CD (2012)
Ultrasound CD discography 2012 release from the British band. They said it would never happen. And by 'they' we mean the band, their friends and anyone who had ever worked with them. But somehow, against all odds and several wads, Ultrasound are back. Back with a fresh attitude. Back with a new keyboard player. Back with a second album a mere 13 (that's thirteen) years after colossal debut 'Everything Picture' rattled the gills of the album charts. You really couldn't make it up, but make up they have. This much we know: as the Twentieth Century wheezed to a close Ultrasound were in the process of spectacularly imploding. 1999 might have been the first year the known world heard of the likes of Doves, Coldplay, Elbow and Muse but for Ultrasound the race was already almost run, a journey which had seen them catapulted from the obscurity of a squat in West London to the front of the NME and a megadeal with Nude Records with scarcely a pause for breath.
Recording information: Snap Studios, London.
Personnel: Andrew "Tiny" Wood (vocals, guitars, acoustic guitar); Andy Peace (vocals, drums, percussion); Vanessa Best (vocals); Richard Green (guitars, 12-string guitar); Bob Birch (piano, organ, Wurlitzer organ, Mellotron, synthesizer, Moog synthesizer, vibraphone).
Audio Mixer: Guy Massey.

My New America CD (1999)
Ultrasound albums In the provocative first release from Ultrasound, My New America singer/songwriter Gary Buchanan and producer Tim Solook explore the dark side of American culture.
The sound is disparate mixing classic rock, goth, metal, and alternative stylings with lyrics compelling us to contemplate issues like drug abuse, child exploitation, and the basic lawlessness of society.
"Sometimes the best music turns you into a voyeur, allowing you to look inside the lives of others while remaining safe in your own safe little world...There's a lot of good music available out there, and Ultrasound may consider themselves to be among the BEST!" - Doug Cornell Editor, AMP3

COM's CD OF THE WEEK.
This is a masterpiece of disorientation that will leave you thinking.

Everything Picture CD (1999)
A bad storm can be a good thing. Following a torrent of hype and anticipation, Ultrasound unleashed this two-part album full of discordant songcraft and angular vocals. Lead singer Tiny Wood is the voice amidst this whirl of distortion, but instead of ...
