Daniel Goode songs The recordings on this CD span three decades of devotion to clarinet and wind instrument playing, from Goode's first recorded improvisation in 1970, to imitations of natural sound, to a large ensemble piece. The CD begins with the most recent work: folk and classical music combined in one formally designed composition. Subsequent tracks trace Goode's creative playing from its beginnings in the late 60s.

Daniel Goode CD discography Tunnel-Funnel presents two works by New York composer Daniel Goode. Performed by the Crosstown Ensemble, the title track is something of a modern pastoral, and very pleasant. With its friendly dissonance, it's less crisp than what "20th century composition" normally refers to. The second composition, "Fiddle Studies," was inspired by Goode's work with traditional Scotch-Canadian fiddlers in Nova Scotia, and is light, lovely, and hypnotic.
