Violent Silence albums VIOLENT SILENCE is without any doubt one of the absolute best Swedish newcommers in the Progressive rock genre ! The band issued its first eponymous album in the year 2003 on the Record Heaven label (And Musea outside of Scandinavia). Very hard to compare with anything else, it might be heard as a subtle mix between LANDBERK, ECHOLYN and SYLVAN. But without guitar ! The reason why the six-strings parts aren't missed at all is that the musicians do a stunning job ! Hannes LJUNGHALL's keyboards parts are logically in the forefront, as is the rythmic section led by Johan HEDMAN (Drums) and Phillip BASTIN (Bass).
