Teenage Filmstars discography Digitally remastered two CD set containing a trio of albums from Edward Ball and his Teenage Filmstars, originally released on the Creation Records label: Rocket Charms (1993), Buy Our Record Support Our Sickness (1995) and Bring Back The Cartel (1997). This double disc set also includes five bonus tracks. Edward Ball, best known for his work as The Times, was a mild-mannered Creation company man by day, Psychedelic, Acid-Pop shaman running amok in the recording studio by night. This is unmapped territory where only My Bloody Valentine dared to tread. The Filmstars dare to go even further; music that widens the horizon, broadens the perception and alters the way we listen to sound. But never forgetting the tune! The 24 page booklet contains a 4,000-word discourse on the making and philosophy behind the trilogy complemented with full production notes and photographs. Cherry Red. 2009. Photographer: Edward Ball.

In November 1991. Creation Records release Loveless by My Bloody Valentine. Three months later Creation Records release Star by Teenage Filmstars. Rumored to have been recorded by an aggregation of various Teenage Fanclubbers and Bloody Valentiners, this mysterious album had journalists and Pop stars from Britain and America ...

As for the Teenage Filmstars, a shoegazing reference could be made, but it ...
