Yoshiesque CDs (1999)
Fred Jorio music CDs This is a continuous in-the-mix CD compiled and mixed by DJ's Dubfire & Sharam (Deep Dish).
This seamless mix is the epitome of class. Though epic in length, you won't be bored. Throughout, we are treated to tracks that stand apart from the herd in terms of sheer quality and craftsmanship. Jark Prongo's hypnotic yet rockin' "Wave 2081" is here, along with Soma classic "Tall Stories" by Chaser. Reaching a wonderfully driving, funky crescendo with Basco's "Music With A Feel," the elation is sustained courtesy of Amoeba Assassin's "Rollercoaster," ending with Underworld's superb "Jumbo." Perfection? That's only the first CD!
The next dish is served with altogether more beef, starting with furious funk from the Lo Fidelity Allstars. Jason Jinx's "The NY Experience" is a similarly sublime yet intense experience: echoing, reversed keys and skittering voices all in evidence over a ruff house groove, which mutates into Mysterious People's deeply compulsive "Fly Away." ...
