Throws CD discography 'Precious' is the first full-length offering from The Throws. Drawing influence from great songwriting bands such as The Beatles, The Killers, Radiohead, and Deathcab--- the L.A.-based three-piece began writing and recording together in 2007. With only a vague direction in mind, the band started releasing a string of singles in 2008 before eventually completing an LP two years later. The recording sessions proved to be a rambling journey, with friends and collaborators stopping-by to leave fingerprints on what was slowly becoming a recognizable sound. By the time it was done, 'Precious' included guest performances by John Lefler (Dashboard Confessional), Jason Orme (Alanis Morrissette, Sarah MacLachlan), and Andy Creighton (The World Record).
