Miguel Timoteo albums Miguel Timoteo Gurule was born on July 17, 1985 and raised in Alcalde, NM. Miguel started singing at the age of 6 when his father asked him to sing with him while practicing with an acoustic guitar at home. Miguel's father played with a few Northern New Mexican bands, so rancheras and cumbias were nothing to new to the youngster. Miguel was raised in a musical environment, and dreamed of someday recording his own New Mexico music. However, stage fright got the best of him and he placed music aside for a few years.
