Fabrice Rouzier CD discography Beethova Obas is a Haitian acoustic guitar player and singer who records consistently high-quality releases. His own sound consists of Haitian konpa, Brazilian samba, classic Cuban rhythms, and additional ingredients all his own. He blends and mixes this all into a rhythmic and melodic whole that is candy for the ears and sparks for the waist movement. His albums have to be listened to repeatedly and reveal themselves more easily in tropical weather. His skill resides in his inventive use of konpa, managing not to sound like a clone of some of the nouvelle generation artists. Those who enjoyed Chant de la Liberte, Si, and Pa Prese will not be disappointed with Planet La. Standout tracks are "Aboliyson," "Byen Kouvri," "Van Leve," "Degats," and "Ki Bagay."
