And they are a very steady and powerful foursome. Named after a classic Gary Moore album - and they fully live up to that...With their fourth long play CD the German Melodic Rockers of Wild Frontier prove that it's absolutely possible to produce an independant CD with a great sound and an excellent booklet. Musically the band still doesn't let any trendy musical fashions get in their way and so they stick to their European Melodic Hard Rock roots and they also skillfully incorporate keyboards. Wild Frontier is playing in the same league as Jaded Heart,Pink Cream 69 and Frontline and occasionally Gotthard also shine through. Two bonus tracks are added to this limited edition one of them is Frida's 80s hit â€zI Know There's Something Going On" written by the great Russ Ballard and also the latest version of "I can't believe" from the very rare debut album "One way to heaven" (Text by Gregor Klee)

Wild Frontier songs The German natives of Wild Frontier return to the scene after a five year hiatus with their new studio record "2012″. One thing is obvious about these guys and they're style, and that is the allure of their melodies on some of the tracks off their new record. Their sound falls somewhere in between Melodic Modern Rock and Hard Rock,with a big focus on their catchy melodic hooks. Is nice to hear a record with deviates a bit from the same formula that some rockers use, a little more synthetic in places is something you pick up on the guitar leads, this alongside the solid songwriting keeps the listener hooked throughout. This is an enjoyable album by Wild Frontier, they don't reinvent anything on the Melodic Rock wheel, rather they stick to the all susceptible European rock formula and provide the listener with some pretty cool melodies, an added punk attitude and overall embellish the listener in their fantastic choruses. Pretty solid production overall and a more then capable lead singer in Walkenhorst.
