There are occasional diversions, of course; "Lovers and Freaks" takes root in the intersection of rock & roll and Southern blues, its chorus sounding something like Alannah Myles covering Ann Wilson, while ballads like "I Just Want You to Love Me" are more indebted to adult contemporary pop. ...

Gypsy Rumble CD (2008)
