Larry The Cable Guy Biography
One of the kings of "redneck comedy," Daniel Lawrence Whitney, known to the world at large as Artist, is perhaps best known as part of the Blue Collar Comedy collective, which includes kindred spirits Ron White, Bill Engvall, and redneck-comedy godfather Jeff Foxworthy. On film, television, albums, and concert stages, Larry portrays the ultimate down-home goofball, a role that has earned him gold records (not that common for comedy recordings) and a huge multimedia audience for his tall tales, musical satire, and strategically crafted trailer-park sense of humor.
