Brewer & Chase music CDs Blake Brewer and Chase Caillouette began playing together during free time at school. The two would play cover songs, with Chase singing and Brewer playing guitar. Brewer and Chase both worked independently on their songwriting skills, and then joined to produce their first album, "Jokes for Birds" in 2005. The music is centered around the acoustic guitar and vocals, influenced by other singer/songwriter groups such as Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake, The Shins, Jack Johnson and various others.
