Based out of Knoxville, TN, Down From Up is one of the city's most progressive rock bands. For more than two years the band has been touring cities throughout the Southeast. Fueled by the prodigious musicianship of both lead guitar player Andy Wood, who in 2003 beat over 3,000 other guitarists on his way to winning Guitar Center’s Guitarmageddon National Guitar Championship, and drummer Andy Campbell, who in 2005 was a regional finalist in Guitar Center’s Drum Off competition, Down From Up combines an intense musicality with strong melodies and a unique voice to rock and roll.
