Blessed with numerous gifts, prior to being delivered from the secular world, he used those gifts to entice fans all over the United States. Born Harold Metcalf, in Forrest City, Arkansas, he is one of 13 children. He began his musical career at the age of 15. He played trumpet, drums and sang lead vocals in a six piece band, "The Fabulous Uptights". In the spring of 1970, he recorded with the group "Abraham and His Sons" on Revenue Records (a division of Universal Records). He played trumpet and co-wrote the hit single "Your Mother Understood".
