~Helios Jive~ Helios Jive formed when composer and producer, Rich Alick, met composer and multi-instrumentalist, Paul Newman. The two found a well balanced partnership through influences of Jazz and electronic beats, which shaped their sound. The duo began writing and performing live with the idea of creating a melodic, jazzy, and electronic soundtrack, emotionally tailored to each individual. The music has a quirky thematic character that gets in your head and moves your caboose. The duo recently scored a feature film entitled "The Bedstand", composed music for the "Lucent Dossier" vaudeville cirque, co-wrote and co-produced two dance remixes reaching billboards top 10, and have released their debut album, "Heliosentric.".
