Neil Hewitt music CDs Neil Hewitt was born on August 18, 1988 in Ames, Iowa. It was the fall of 2000, at age 12, that he discovered an interest in music, and began taking weekly guitar lessons. His choice of music, although different from his peers, was country western. He began singing his favorite country songs, and gave his first live performance in an 8th grade talent show.
