Moving CD (2006)
Danilo Madonia CD discography MOVING is Danilo's first and personal aptly-titled CD: thirteen songs about his life-changing experience in England and the conclusion to move back to Italy, all written during a break from his usual non-stop working schedule where he decided to give himself a sort of high priority and leave the job behind for a while. With the invaluable collaboration on drums of great musicians like Elio Rivagli and Andre Ceccarelli, MOVING reveals a totally different direction from his highly-extimated past works, the start of a new road perhaps.

Strange Times CD (1999) Top Seller
Danilo Madonia CD discography The Moodies' most guitar-laden album in ages, STRANGE TIMES is also (perhaps not coincidentally) one of the band's best in ages, a mostly stripped-down (for them) set of unpretentious pop/rock love songs that go down quite painlessly. There are a few misteps; "All That is Real is You" and "Forever Now" come decorated with string arrangements so overripe they recall Max Steiner scores for old Bette Davis movies, and Ray Thomas's folkie children's song, "My Little Lovely," is somewhere between icky and creepy. Just about everything else works, though, ...

Ballads / December CDs (2003)
Danilo Madonia discography This single-CD compilation, which is not made up exclusively of Moody Blues material -- Justin Hayward's solo hit "Forever Autumn" and the Justin Hayward/John Lodge "Blue Guitar" are also included -- is a pretty neat assembly of some of the most lyrical and romantic numbers in the band's 43-year history. The first nine cuts are drawn from the "classic seven" albums made between 1967 and 1972, and include the unorchestrated single mixes of "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon" -- such is the nature of the material, that ...
