The title was a cover of an Al Kooper song from the first Blood, Sweat, and Tears album. His first solo release was Love ni¢â‚¬â„¢ Money in 1996 and included Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton from Stevie Ray Vaughani¢â‚¬â„¢s band Double Trouble, Tony Coleman of the B.B. King Blues Band and Charlie DeChant, long-time saxman for Hall and Oates. After Steviei¢â‚¬â„¢s death, Tommy was in Texas and contacted Double Trouble, and they recorded six tracks on the album at a session in Austin.
